Why Use Actors?
Role-plays are an integral part of many training, assessment and development programmes. Yet so often delegates see them as a necessary evil.
Actors bring "reality"
An actor can provide a convincing character, with a fully developed past, present and future. This leaves course participants to concentrate on developing their skills without being distracted by the unreality of the role-play.
Not everyone enjoys acting
Business actors bring consistency and objectivity. We take care of the acting - freeing the delegate to be their natural selves.
Actors keep the focus
An actor will sustain the character throughout, offering up subtle changes and more obvious physical and verbal signalling. This makes scenarios interesting and stimulating.
We deliver informed feedback
Our actors are trained to give specific constructive verbal and written feedback. Feedback is linked to specific evidence from the events of the role-play. This highlights the competencies that require development.
